JVM Outreach Ministries, Inc.
Founded in 2007 by Rev. Dr. Jerryl V. Moody in a small community in Ahoskie, NC, JVM Outreach Ministries, Inc. (JVMOM) expanded its presence to the Washington, DC (DMV) area in 2020. While continuing to master the use of virtual methods to spread the Gospel, JVMOM was divinely blessed to secure space in Camp Springs, MD in post-pandemic 2022 for scheduled in-person worship services! The combination of virtual and in-person services enables our church family from north, south, east and west to bond together and grow in faith, fellowship, and love!
JVMOM is firmly rooted in God’s Word and Truth as written in the Holy Bible. We are a church family of believers who proudly and unapologetically study, proclaim, and work to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With loving hearts, we seek to serve all people through relevant, non-traditional, and traditional methods rooted in the Baptist doctrine. JVMOM takes seriously its responsibility to serve the spiritual, emotional, social, and practical needs of our communities. We endeavor to faithfully carry out the commission to lead souls to the saving knowledge of and in relationship with Jesus Christ.

JVMOM is a growing family of Christian believers with physical locations in Camp Springs, MD and Gaston, NC. Technology has enabled our online family to grow nationally.

What We Believe
At JVM Outreach Ministries, we believe in:
- The Holy Trinity: One God revealed in three co-equal deities, God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- The Holy Bible: the only Truth. The infallible Word of God.
- The Resurrected Savior: Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior; born as man, lived, suffered, died, and conquered sin and death through His resurrection.
- The Path to Salvation: Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life to eternal salvation for believers.
- The Power of the Holy Spirit: the Spirit of God indwells within and empowers us to walk in peace, joy, and righteousness.
- Discipleship: As a body of believers, we are called to strengthen our faith, be witnesses of the Living God and the Gospel, and to boldly declare victory over the enemy of righteousness in daily life.
- The Church: A loving faith community of like-minded believers who collectively worship, learn, grow, serve, and aspire to live according to the principles of the Christian faith.
How We Serve
JVMOM values the importance of community and coming together to support one another. We offer a variety of programs and events, from weekly worship services (virtually and in-person) to Christian Education opportunities, to group events and social gatherings appealing to individuals of all ages.
As believers, we are called to serve others and make a positive impact in the world. At JVM Outreach Ministries, we are committed to outreach and service projects, both locally and globally.
